Potato vs Rice Europe by Machine Learning Algorithm Based on Per Capita Consumption
Inspired by the previous post on Potato vs Tomato, I decided to create a Potato vs Rice Map using per capita consumption data and clustering algorithm. This time the data indicated that there should be more than two clusters.
It’s worth pointing out that every country consumes more potato than rice. It’s the extent of how much that gap is that generates this map. For example, the UK consumes a lot more rice than Russia or Norway, but a lot less than Portugal.
Portugal stands out since its rice consumption is extremely high compared to the rest of europe.
