Using Safegraph points of interest (POI) dataset, we can visualize the most popular coffee chain in each state.
We can see that Dunkin’ is very popular in the East coast and the Midwest, but not so much on the West. Starbucks dominates the other side.
The following map shows which coffee chain won each state.
